Hi all. I played with this outside today while watching the kids splash around in the pool. It's a start anyway. I like the idea of it and will play some more with better wire. Tammy

Yummy, it looks like a sugar candy. I like the way one can see the back wires through the crystal. Somebody won't have to ask "could we see the back please?" any more Adrian

I do.. I have the wire bug. But, what I see in my mind is nothing as to how it's turned out. I just don't have the materials right now! I need some nice copper wire and some nice leather cord. But then, maybe what I see in my mind I'll never be able to create! lol We'll see. You all inspire me all the time here.. everyone does wonderful work. Tammy

Awwwww darlin' you will! Try brandywinejewelrysupplies.com for copper wire...and I think she has leather cord too. I forget! I LOVE copper myself. I'm thinking about doing some jewely in the non-tarnish copper colored wire one of these days...course, that can be years. lol Thing is to just have fun and you will learn new techniques as you go.

Tammy That is a totally amazing stone, it's so clear, even in rough form. I know what you mean about what you see in your mind, I've yet to actually have something turn out just the way I see it. I've started drawing things on paper a little to help me "see" it. Don't despair Tammy, it will come, just give yourself some time. I mentioned about the bail in the other post, the only other thing I'm wondering is if it would be better using smaller beads since you're doing more than one? Just a thought, keep at it, you can only get better. ;D
