Hi. I took the rought Quartz and re-wrapped it. A little better. Thanks for the tips on doing the bail first.. it helped make it a little prettier. Still dead soft wire tho.. only 26 gauge. Oh well. back (like I have to tell you) Tammy

Tammy that is awesome, but 26 gauge is sooooo thin have you tried about 20 or 22 instead - I THINK the beads would still fit through it
Have you tried tumbling the quartz? it looks like a big ice chip! I love clear quartz - is that stuff local?

Hi Tweet. It is so thin and pretty yucky to work with. I just haven't found any around yet. I'm going to make some phone calls and homefully someone around here carries thicker wire. With those last two pieces I just didn't want them tumbled. Something pretty in the natural stone as well. It does look like an Ice Chip tho! lol My friend came over and she wrapped a really awesome Pietersite.. small little tumbled nugget but she made it look great. Her first time even! I may not be a natural but it's fun.

Tammy...your are moving up gal! Hey...fun is what it is all about. Get you some copper wire from www.brandywinejewelrysupplies.com It is cheap and you can do lots more stuff! Get some square 21 gauge wire too...you can only twist square wire...talk about things happening! lol...

I like that yours are always so different. I was at a rock shop last weekend and saw some natural rocks in wire but no beads. Yours are nicer.

that's pretty cool. I love the front of it and the beads are not too big and intrusive on the quartz. love it
