We are our own worst critics. It was lovely, can't wait to see what you do with the stone. Tami

Usually, I'm pretty good at weaves...but I dunno, I just didn't like this one. It was that top weave that I hated...It was too sharp a turn with too little wire at the bottom to make it look decent. ack! A true learning experience. lol...

I'm thinking of trying a weave on my next wrap... Got any pointers? tips? Tricks? I've never done it before so any information you can give will help out a lot!
Thanks, Dan

Use cheap, soft wire. Try to keep the width between the frame wires consistent. I use clamps or a third hand (that has 2 clips). And just have a blast!!!! THEN SHOW US!

Ya know, I really like that new colored wire and it isn't expensive. I got some from Fire Mountain gems to learn with. Use 24gauge round for the small wire...then when ya get good, go to 26 gauge. The border wire that you are wrapping should be at least 21 gauge hard...any gauge larger will do too and be a better choice. Your frame needs to be hard enough that you won't bend it all to heck when pulling the smaller gauge wire. I sent you a url for weaving. www.stepbystepwire.com/wire/fwpendant.cfm I think you are set! Have a great time.

Lady B...I haven't scrapped it again! lol...just haven't finished messing with it. I had to do the pendant for Jaime...and I've been playing with another stone today. I'll work on this one again...just not sure when.

That sure was nice. It's true we are out own worst critics. I thought it was nice but understand. Hopefully what comes of the stones next will be even better (hard to imagine) Steve
