So, I went to the local craft store and bought the only type of wire they had and gave this wrapping thing a try. I quickly realized I needed tools that were not designed for working on the car. This first one was done with this huge pair of needle nose pliers and some dikes that were made for cutting household wireing. The back for the bird. My 2nd try did not go as well as my first, the stone was much harder to get to sit still while trying to bend the wire around it. Back Thanks for looking Greg

not bad for your first attempt. The only advice I can give is watch your ends. Run fingers over the whole wrap. If you feel any sharp edges so will the person wearing it. Keep at it!!

For first attempts I think they look pretty good. With the right tools and some practice, you'll get to be really great at this!

I agree with Lady B. You're off to a good start, you just need some good tools. I'd suggest that when you do the swirly type of thinga-ma-jig that you attach the end to the frame of the wrap somewhere. They'll catch on something and cause problems. But, you're definitely heading in the right direction! OH and please add stone names....that's half the excitement..or 2/3... :-)

WOW! You really are off to a great start. Sheesh...with what you had to work with, those are great! Yep...better rub all around your piece to make sure you don't stick your customer.

That is a wonderful start, especially since you were working with automotive tools. Tami
