Hello to all my fellow wrappers. I am sure most of you are familiar with the traveling cache box. How is this for a strange idea a traveling wrap.
One person starts a wrap but leaves the top unfinished. Then sends it to another wrapper who finishes one wire then sends it along. Then the last person to finish the wrap holds a contest of their own design for someone to win the Wrap. The number of participants would dictate the number of wires used. And to keep it going for another round the person who was second on the list begins a new wrap and sends it along until everyone on the list started and finished a wrap. Any additional ideas would be appreciated and I am willing to start the first wrap.

I think it is an absolutely wonderful idea! Unfortunately, I haven't learned how to do wraps, yet. Lady B

I like the idea too! A traveling wrap sounds great. Here's another that came to mind: Have someone start with a wrap and a cab and send it on. The next person keeps the first wrap, wraps the existing cab and sends it along to the next person with a new cab of their own. Repeat lots of times. It is a little more involving which is nice, but is limited to people who cab or are willing to buy a new cab or get one from another RTH'er. Just a thought. I'm on board with any traveling wrap. I'd be on board as well. Along with Steve's idea just mentioned, it might be nice to start with a selection of cabs to send to the next "victim". Each place it stops, the wrapper takes the previously wrapped selection, selects one cab, wraps that one to send on, and adds another cab to the stash. Granted, that also gives the wrapper more choice than just accepting whatever cab is in there so there's less of a challenge.
Just something to think about.
I'd definitely be willing to play as well.

This sounds like fun. I might be a little nervous about trying to finish what someone else started so Steve's idea makes sense to me. Having multiple cabs to chose from is a good idea as well. Can I play too? Dan

Roger go to the top of the wire wrap section and look for the thread called roaming wire. If still interested just drop a response there.
