Hey all, Here's a new one made with gold filled. The cross is Pet wood that I found here just W. of Houston in the Brazos River. It was one of the more unique finds. There is some question as to whether or not it might be Opalized.... Front Side - notice the three wires.. Back wrapping these with 3 wires is a bit harder than just 2 Thanks for lookin' Dan

Dan I have a confession. I just can't get into wraps very much. I mean no offense to people who wrap or like wraps. It's just a me thing.
Having said that, your wrapped crosses just blow me away. I love 'em! This one is probably the best you've done so far. Personally I don't think the wood is opalized. I think it is grade A No. 1 silica. That is a fantastic find! Congrats on the stone and the wrap.
Curt

Thanks guys! I have lots of crosses and shapes that are getting real close to final stage. So it won't be long before I can make some for everyone that wants....
Curt - You're probably right about it being Silica. I need to find some more of it so I'll be hunting that river pretty heavy this Fall...
Thanks again, Dan

Thanks Jeremy. Coming soon. Easy to wrap once the trick is learned... I'm sure you'll knock 'em out faster than me. Dan
