Onyx Front Back Jamie's Chryscolla Front Back This one is more blue than green, but very pretty either way. Thanks for looking. Tonja

Gee I remember when you first started to wrap. You have come so far in such a short time. Your work is fantastic! Are you sure that Silver Lace comes from Mexico? There is a simular material from Mexico that I think is called Salt Lake Onyx. The Silver Lace comes from a long depleted mine in California. I love the stuff and have a fair amount of it. It is called Silver Lace as some trace amounts of Silver may be found in it. There is still one place that it can still be purchased. You got a sweet shine on the Chrysicola. Thanks for sharring. You are right Daniel. That is Onyx, not Silver lace. I couldn't remember the exact name, but thought it was something silver. Sorry and thanks for helping me. Thanks for the compliments also. Tonja

They're great! I also love it when the backs look finished. Shows good craftsmanship.

OOO that onyx is fantastic - I'll have to wait until I get to work to really see the chrysocolla since this monitor is toast - but I really like the backs too - they look almost as good as the front - the chrys looks good already!
Did you find that the onyx is super soft?

I like the "step down" look at the bottom of the front view of the Chryscolla! Nice detail.

Thanks everyone. I like the chryscolla also. The pictures show to much yellow on the wire, it is really gold and they both look great in person. Tweet, I don't know if it was soft per say, it was very easy to work, that's for sure. I have another small slab, will definatly do another, someday. Tonja

Tonja, those are really nice. What kind of wire is that on the 2nd one? It looks like it's flat or is that just my poor eyesight?
