That's beautiful. I am a huge fan of Rhodochrosite so I kind of feel that it can stand alone without the pink crystal on top.. but that's jmo. The gold wire is perfect and looks soft and smooth! Very lovely cab also. Tammy

Beautiful!
But I must ask to see the back of that one, I need to see how you get that faceted stone to stick in there

Looks like KD's boost has got the mojo flowing again. Really pleased to hear and see it Thanks for posting the photo. The faceted gem - what type of rock is it? and is it one someone here has cut? I'm really interested in the facetting process and want to learn all I can before I consider purchasing a machine. Cheers All, Harry.

Thanks for all the comments.
Tweet, you can't tell from the back how the faceted stone is held. Next time I do one I will take photos during the process and send em to ya.
Harry, I have no idea what type of faceted stone it is. Believe it or not its an old earing that I cut the post off of.

That's the way to do it Jonje, recycle and reuse. And what a wonderful result it looks great on there. Thanks for the return. Hope the old mojo's floowing freely now.
Cheers,
H

Actually I did every time i sat down to wrap I wound up tossing wire!! Thats why I am now having to order wire. I went through a 2 week bad spell. coincidently both of my sons were in PA during that bad spell. Guess the house was too quiet.

That's beautiful, the faceted stone really compliments KD's cab. Awesome job on that KD, not easy to work with.
