I recently received some cabs from Ed. He sent me some tiny cabs to give me a challenge. This one is a fire agate. The object under the cab is a dime! Here it is wrapped. Thanks for looking.

Very good job! My absolute smallest was probably a squared-off dime. What thickness is the wire?

I used 22 gauge round. I can honestly say that my eyes hurt after this one.

Nice Job Jonje! There's now way in Hell that I'd be able to even get my fingers to want to cooperate. You wrappers are an amazing bunch! Steve

It is graceful like ballet! How you can even see to work is amazing and to be so precise at that size. Even working big I feel like I'm working with my toes T

See! TNT(Taint-Nothin'-To-it) Well, it wasn't exactly a challenge I was offering you, but you did a damn fine job accepting the challenge and passing with flying colors. Good thing you're still relatively young with eyesight to be able to do things without needing magnifying lenses. Of course, trying to do cabs this small may change that for you!

Amazing work on that little beauty! I imagine myself trying to wrap it and, I don't know why, an elephant trying to sew pops in my mind.

Thanks again for all the comments. 181lizard I never would have thought of using it as a charm for a bracelet very interesting idea.

It's absolutely beautiful! What a wonderful solution to such an intriguing challenge!
And Liz's idea is great!

Wow, I bet it would have looked good as a ring too! I butchered most of the fire agates I had to play with but I got them with a bunch of other stuff for cheap. Now I know better than to try tumble shaping it.
