Here's the latest. Aagh. Tweetie I forgot the pic of the back - I'll try to get it later this week. 20 & 22g copper Artistic Wire, swarovski crystals and copper beads Normally I wouldn't use such a big wire for the weaving, but it's all I had and I had been dreaming about this pendant!!! So I had to do it. It's definitely tougher to do with thicker wire.

I think it looks great. Love how you did some weaving (did I get the term right) with the wire.

Thanks! It took about 3 hours altogether...with some interruptions. So, not really very long. :-)

Man tha's a lot of work there - I get how you did the winding around the wire, but not how you did the "crocheting" around the cab itself

The stone is BC jade...in fact, I think the slab came from Snowdog....
The crotcheting is sooooooooooooo easy Tweetiepy! That comes from the Eni Oken tutorial. It's kind of a back stitch. I made the frame first and then began stitching the wire around the frame, then the successive rows are looped through each other...I suck at describing these things...I think this came from Eni's latest tutorial, it actually has another layer.

I just lovvvvvve copper. It just gives you a warm, fuzzy feeling. I prefer simple wraps but I sure do love looking at intricate ones. Beautiful work.
