posted this in my post but wanted to include it here as it is my first I did this with only a dremmel and my inland grinder for shaping edges photo was taken dry and is still unfinished still have some polish in the grains  |

Wow! Looking good so far. You may have heard this already, but a great trick for removing polish from pits or petrified wood grain is to use one of those vibrating toothbrushes with a peroxide toothpaste. Seems to raise and clean the polish right out of those little pits.....mel

Reminds me of the way I did it before scrounging up my used grinders! Looks pretty good! Check EBAY today, they have tons of stuff in
