posted this in my post but wanted to include it here as it is my first I did this with only a dremmel and my inland grinder for shaping edges photo was taken dry and is still unfinished still have some polish in the grains

Wow! Looking good so far. You may have heard this already, but a great trick for removing polish from pits or petrified wood grain is to use one of those vibrating toothbrushes with a peroxide toothpaste. Seems to raise and clean the polish right out of those little pits.....mel

Reminds me of the way I did it before scrounging up my used grinders! Looks pretty good! Check EBAY today, they have tons of stuff in
