Ooooooooooo those last three are awesome. I'm not quite so sure about the first one though. Best one, 3rd pic, that's totally cool.

Wow Sands. I'm really impressed with how nice the poppy jasper turned out. really colorful stones! How big is that chiastolite? I find quite a bit near my ranch but never thought of cabbing it as most the crystals are under 3/4 inch in diameter. Is yours one of those Australian whoppers? Hear some of them can get pretty big!...mel

Very nice job on those John. Is that first one like labradorite? The second pic is some other type of poppy jasper that I got at the rock shop. The third one is some of the stuff I collected from Anderson reservior in Morgan Hill, and the fourth one is Morgan Hill poppy jasper. You did all of the stones justice my friend. I really like the third one too. That would make a nice "Name that Cabojohn". If ya do decide to do that, I'll send you some more to work up.

I agree with the masses, #3 is my bestest favorite - I think Mark should create "drool" icon for us to use

I'll get another slab or two off in the mail to you John. Your generosity overwhelmes me. You're a good man.

Sands, you know I like your cabs, but I really love the 3 sided (triangular) pieces. Did you put that one up for a NAME THE CAB contest while I was offline? I can't wait to see what you make out of Kim's rocks! Hurry up and get over there - S
