This question has probably been posted somewhere on the board but...I'll ask again anyway...
Does anyone have a suggestion for diamond drill bits? Where to buy, what type to buy, sizes, etc...?
Just came home with a Delta 10" drill press from Lowes and am looking for Drill bits....the Dremel 400 is next on the list...
Thanks in advance... Dan

Okay....Next Question...
Which is better? The twisted type or the flat type...those seem to be the 2 types..except for the Core bits of course...
Thanks again....!

Just order some 3/4mm drill bits from Santa Fe Jewlery supply- 10 of em for $12 I use them in the dremel- I make sure the rock and the bit are underwater- use very light pressure and lift the bit every 30 seconds or so (to allow it to clean out) I can usually get through a 3/8 inch slab in about 5 to 10 minutes

Thanks Stefan - I decided not to go to Harbour Freight cause someone told me their bits don't last....The price is right for the ones you suggested so I'm off to Santa Fe's web page....

i use twisted bits, underwater, at the highest RPM my little drill press can go (i've read that between 5000 and 30,000 is the best for stone). i get my bits at this place: www.cyberrockhound.com/KD

Thanks KD - Looks like the ones on the Santa Fe web site are neither twisted or spade...already ordered some so I'll try em out and if i don't like 'em I'll try cyberrock....
Have a great weekend
