Rusted, non-cutting blade, slipping belts, screaming kids - well I over came most of these obstacles and got to finish two cabs. Another piece of Kim's Swazi bloodstone - I was glad that red stayed there, thought it would grind away - the thin grey line through the red isn,t a fracture but a thin grey line through the red ;D This came off a piece of "not so nice" agate at the club - I'm guessing it was the first slice off a bigger piece, it was lumpy and uneven AND in the freebie bin! It,s agate, not sure what kind but it sure does take a wonderful shine - it's clear I think the bottom yellowish part is the putty showing through - if you know what it is feel free to let me know - I think I may see scratches in this one? Thanks for looking

181lizard, I've only started cabbing sometime last August or September and have been allowed to go to the local lapsmith club to exercise my cabbing options maybe a handful of times since then maybe 6-10 times - sometimes you have to fight, um I mean, wait for the machines to become available to finish the cabs and I was sometimes gone for a good part of the day and felt guilty (which is ridiculous) but i finally got a cabbing machine at home and these are my second batch - I'm planning to do more tonite.... I just have to remember that there are kids in the house and to put the kids to bed before 10PM!

Hi Tweet, Those are nice cabs. The second one is great. Not bad for coming from the freebie bin. Good job on the cabs. Dan www.dbrockwerks.com
