and a few more cabs, here are a few of my better ones from week 2; Stone Canyon Jasper from Aunt Sally's garage; a piece of self-collected mystery jasper from Nevada; a piece of India Bloodstone from "the rock shop time forgot"; another piece from the Montana agate I bought in Montana back in February; and a piece from the peruvian blue moss opal I picked up at Cloud's Jamboree in Laughlin NV;

nice job on those- I'm really starting to like that Peruvian opal- I almost bought some of the peruvian chocolate opal at the last show- till I realized it was sold by the gram not the piece!!!!

Hey Pete, your slowing down! Just kidding. The piece you're calling bloodstone looks more like green moss agate. Check out Tony's post of bloodstone and you'll see what I mean. Nice job on the cabs.

no you are right I am slowing down, although there are about a dozen others that got done last night, these are just the best of the batch.
As for the green stuff, it came out of the bin labeled BLD at the Hopland shop, most of it is green with red- a few pieces had this white stuff in it too, although the red is more of a purple red than the deep crimson typical for good bloodstone.
Tonight I'm going to see if I can get through 5 and finish up before midnight!

Nice job! That peruvian blue moss opal looks like storm clouds rolling in over the prairie.

Wow times 5. I like, hmm.. the peruvian opal alot, and that green one. Also that Nevada mystery cab, and the Montana agate is beautiful. Oh, but that Stone Canyon jasper is cool too. Oh heck, I like em all. I can't decide. Seriously, wow wow wow wow wow! Steve
