Hi all. I hope you're not getting burned out by all the poppy jasper I've been posting lately, but I just can't seem to get enough of this material. These were cut from the slabs that didn't hold together, but they still made for some nice cabs. Here's a group shot and the individual cabs 30x18mm 25x15mm 26x20mm When I cut into the larger slabs, I'll try and get some ovals.

Thanks guys. I've got 4 more small slabs of that brown rock John, and if it will ever stop raining around here, I'll put that sucker in my 18" saw and cut some nice slabs out of the center of it.

Hi Stoner, Nice Job, Great shapes, you are like me, I probably make more cabs from broken slabs, than whole ones. The broken ones just scream what they want to be. ;-) The Jasper is way coooool to. Dan www.dbrockwerks.com

Thanks folks, I appreciate the compliments. I like taking the smaller pieces and just let the stone dictate what shape it will take.

That material looks like it came in straight from the 1960's! Great stuff.

Wowser! Heck Stoner, I spend most my time hunting, cutting, cabbing, or licking poppy jasper! I love the stuff and you can never post too many pics of it for me to look at! Great job with the cabs and keep them coming....mel
