Hey Folks, These pieces came from a batch i finished last nigth. I just may keep a few, D'oh! *Banjos fine Purple/Orange Moss/plume Agate from Burro Creek. The nicest i have ever worked of that material! *a fine set of Guadalupe Poppy Jasper *a druzy piece of Graveyard Plume from my tumble rough stocks. I polished it on the sides and the back, but left the face naturally broken. *one i will most likly keep. Unreal picture scene in Paiute agate. The back is just as nice! Rare Purple Chalcedony from Russia. Druzy center. the back is just as nice too! A 2piece pendant, Fire agate with purple fire, and Banjos Purple Jasper. way to fine! Always a favorite of mine, Condor agate Tuxedo. I have a druzy piece that goes with it, but have to make a different rig to photograph them together.

Nice job shain. I like the shapes and the Guadalupe is really nice material. Looks like there aren't any fractures in those at all.

Shain!!!!! Man oh man- I loved the Paiute Agate- Was that from Banjo also? I got a nice chunk from him- it has been giving me a bear of a time on the grinder- so I tossed some into the tumbler- looks pretty awesome!!!! I think that one is my Fave from this batch- but the poppy jasper is a real close second- Man i love your work!

Thanks folks, ya Ed, That Poppy jasper is fracture free! There shows a couple nice healed fractures, but nothing that would fail easy. It was cut form a piece i got from a neighbor who wifes has a monster piece of Morgan Hill in her Rock garden. And she told me she will never sell it. It roughly 30pounds and has a green color to it. Though its full of fracutres, boy the cabs that could make. I got another dozen slabs that will all cut similar cabs to that set.
The Piaute comes from my over stocks Stephen. Banjo most likely has gotton it from me, as i have sevral hundreds pounds of just piaute, but not all is as nice as that cab. I managed two large cabs out of one piece i found a week ago while pooking around in my stocks. It will taken forever to sort the piles i tell ya. But its like rockhounding in my backyard. I only have to walk outside and start digging. Most of the stuff i cut comes out of these piles. I already sorted out most of the Regnecy, about 8000 pounds worth!

Ya, it been coming long before i joined this board. I do the Koi and ponds with my folks, but the lapidary and cabochons i do all by myself. So mainly for biuness reasons i had to reformatt my dealins with them, which also resulted in the newer site. It makes tax time so much easier.
So i am changing that handle in a number of boards that are just for rocks and gems.
