Hi all. I finished up 6 new cabs today using some different material than I am used to using. Susan(NMRocks) sent me a couple of slabs of prudent man agate for me to cut some cabs for her. I must say, for an agate, this stuff is weird to work with as it has soft spots as well as areas that are very hard. These two cabs were cut from the same area of the slab, the first one on top of the second one. 30x22mm 30x22mm This next one is from some Riviera Plume agate I got on ebay. It's got a nice druzy pocket on the side. 30x22mm This is from a chunk of agate that Rallyrocks left here when he came to visit awile ago. This stuff is really cool. He said he found it in Nevada. 40x30mm These next two are Flowering Agate from Arizona. Unfortunately, the big one developed a fracture and will become a cabogone. 40x30mm 25x18mm Thanks for looking.

Thanks, I really like the second prudent man too. That last one was a leftover piece from the slab of the flowering agate, I just didn't want it to go to waste.

Great work, as always. All cabs are beautiful, but I must agree with most - that second one is superb. Great choice of scenery. Mighty powerful. Zotika

Awesome cabs! I've also had fracture problems with St. Johns Flower Agate. I think the original miner must've used blasting as every piece I've cut seems to have lots of internal fractures...mel
