Well, after seeing what those slabs looked like, I couldn't stand it anymore so I worked up a cab of the onyx I got from Tony. I really like this stuff. 40x30mm Thanks for looking

Wow, see the sun shining through the foggy morning mist over the big pond, you can even see the ripples in the waves with the sunlight reflecting on them. That is soooo cool but I have a question, is it done all the way or is it just the light that you can't see the shine?

Oh it's done alright Cher. I think the clearness of the stone near the top is soaking in all the light so you can't see the polish on it. Usuall you can see the reflection of the the light bulbs I use in my lamp, but they don't even show up on this cab. I'll cut another cab out of the section of the slab that has the banding in it and I'm sure the shine will show up then. Thanks everyone.

How do you get the shape so smooth around the edges, are you using that jig now? I can't imagine ever getting anything that smooth, I shake too much. LOL

It's just like coloring in a colorbook Cher, only on cabs, you gotta keep outside the lines.
