Now here a new material to me from one of my favorite sellers of opals and agates from Turkey. I have cut many other opals types from turkey, but not any blue. and according to Hasan, blue is very scares and actually produces more green inter color mixing. Which you can kind of see in this cab. I call the stuff cloud opal because its water clear, with a slight hint of blue color. Is full of floating inclusions and even has a slight glycerol glow to the over all appearance of the cab. Fun easy to work and reasonably priced rough.

sorry Stefan, i have only bought a little rough from Lapidary dealers. he so far has only listed three parcels, under a pound each of this material. cgi.ebay.com/Premium-Blue-Opal-from-Turkey-0-14-LB-2a38_W0QQitemZ8933102259is the only current piece he has that i would buy myself. BUt hes had this one up for two months and i still havent made a bite for it. ITs very nice looking though, good for picture cabs. PM your addy and i will send you a slabet of what i got from him if you like.
