I have listed a Frantom Grinder/polisher on ebay. If whoever buys it wants me to ship it to them, I have a problem. It weighs 90 lbs and is quite bulky (37X16X18). I will have to get it packed for UPS or someone else. Has anyone done this? And how did you solve the packing? I am not sure where to go to get it done. Any help would be appreciated. Bob

I think shipping the motor and the unit seperately w9ill be part of the answer. I see that done a lot.

most big grinders go motor frieght this way they can strap it to a pallet most times it just gets coverd with some plastic or cut cardboard but you might be able to go to one of the packing and shipping places and get them to pack it for ya in a box if anyone will have a box to fit they will and yes ship in two pieces if you try and box it up

Yea at 90 Lbs your pushing the limits of what Ups or Fed ex will handle- check with some common carriers (it ain't cheap as they go by weight (when it is over 1000 Lbs- or volume (when it is under 1000 lbs)
