Hi all, Happy June 1st. I was looking through some of the slabs I've gotten recently and found some I had marked out for cabs so I got busy on the saw and the grinder and here they are. Moss Agate 40x30mm  Unknown agate 40x30mm  Another unknown 30x22mm  These next 2 may be Birdseye jasper, both are 30x22mm   Possibly Stone Canyon Jasper 30x22mm  Another unknown. This one broke on the 80g wheel so that's why it's such a weird shape. I may take it back to the 80 wheel and re-shape it. 30x20mm  Thanks for looking |

Your back must be feeling better if you sat and did all of these. Nice job, I like them all but that unknown agate (2nd pic) is really cool.

i don't think i could possibly pick a favorite as they are all so nice. tell me about the one that looks broken. is it really broken? looks cool like that.

Thanks everyone. I really like the second one myself. I wish I knew what kind of agate it is. Kim, the one of which you speak is not cracked. That's a black streak going through the stone, so I guess you would call it a healed fracture. I kinda expected to break while I was grinding it, but it made it all the way thru in one piece.
Debs, the last one is a freeform, but it looks too much like an oval that went bad on me, like this was the first time I tried to do an oval shape and I got a little carried away on one side. So that's why I think I'll take it back to the wheel and maybe grind a nice concave shape to that side, then it will look like a freeform, and not a mistake
