Hey Guys, I wanted to post these before i forget. Mt Chandler Carnelian, and a cab of Tony Memorial Day give away. The carnelian is unreal and came out too nice in color to believe. Only got the one nodule of this grade, and it showing more and more fractures as i cut into it. So this may be the largest cab i get from the rough. Super gel, no inclusions at all. The Jade is way nice as well, and there will be another one getting finished next week. This piece was a bit odd, the whiter areas are soft, and the greener areas are hard. This was cut into a double dome cab, low on the back, and high on the front. Thanks for the piece Tony i enjoyed cutting it. However the other piece i think will be a hard cut, no soft areas in the other piece. Keep a look out.

Nice job on both of those cabs Shain. I actually liked working that piece of jade because I didn't run into the usual undercutting problems like I do with the darker green stuff.

Thanks Ed, Ya i didnt get any undercutting with that Jade piece. And i have only worked that Blade a while back of the darker jade from Tonys stash, but it didnt undercut. It did try to blister, but that was becasue of heat and not hardness.

I like them both, great color in both of them too. That green blended with the lighter color is way cool.
