My favorite is the Sagnetic agate, You did a great job with the pattern. I can't stop looking at it. All are great looking cabs. I like those Maury My cabs too. I've noticed you are posting lots of cabs recently. You are really cranking those things out! I need to go look at your other ones now. Steve

They are all really neat but that Biggs is just amazing. I'm not much into the picture jasper but that one looks so 3-D it's just cool. That Saganite is really neat too.

Thanks everyone. Thanks for the ID Kim. I had no idea what it was other than a cool looking stone. That one and the sagnetic both started out as ovals but I hit some cracks and pits, so they turned out as teardrops. I'm going to put the Biggs up for a name this cab.

very cool Ed, and the frist Sagenite is cool. That Unknown plume is the second sagenite. Classic stuff again. And believe me, its not plume, it is sagenite. And The yellow area in the frist sagenite is, sagenite also, just different base mineral makeup, different drecition, and much tighter needle packing. All came out very nice.

I love that first sagenite. I can picture it round, but I think the teardrop shape suits it so much more! Beautiful job as always!

Love that Sagenite. I tried to find some of that material while I was in Oregon, and did find a few nodules. Guess I'll have to cut em' up and see what's inside. That Maury Mtn Moss is really cool to. Thanks for sharing your talent...you do awesome stuff. Steve

Thanks all. Hey Steve, when you cut into those Sagenites be sure to post some pics. I'd love to see them. Yea, that was a shameless plug KD, but it would be nice to get more people checking out this section. And as it's been discussed lately, a place for everything and everything in it's place.

Hi Ed ... it's me again ;D I can help you to identify your unknowns ... #2 - 27 x 18 is in fact a piece of Petrified Algae #5 - 28 x 15 is a piece of Spanish Point Agate. Spanish Point agate is more of a tube/plume agate and this piece didn't have much of either. The last "unknown" piece was cut from a piece of Laguna Agate with a very nice Sagenite spray. Just a quice note about the Black Carey Plume ... thisis an extremely ultra rare stone! In my 27 years of lapidary, I have only seen 9 or 10 pieces of this material ... it is that rare ... so, that one is definitely worth holding onto I hate this movig crap ... it keeps me from getting on the board and seeing what everyone is doing Take care and keep up the great work, Bear
