Nice work Arkie! You know that obicular jasper sure looks allot like Peanut wood. Were did you get the stuff? When i see new stuff, i want to know more. And in lapidary theres allot of sellers that mix names very easy. I would love to know were you got it. My curoisty always gets the better of me. Nice looking cabs there indeed. Thanks for sharing.

OK folks...On the first orbicular pic, I see the line going through the cab. Was this already there, Trish, when you started cabbing ? or did it happen while cabbing? Does it make the cab less stable? Is it one of those "healed" fractures? Sorry for the machine gun questions, but how else do we learn?

Awesome cabs Trish. Nice to see you posting again. I'm going to have to try some of that obicular jasper that you sent me, that is really nice material.

Very nice! Interesting to see more round ones too, I think I like circles better than ovals, but hear they are harder to get right. Good job!

I really like the circles too - they make me want to hold them!!! The second to last pic, of jasper is my favorite - it looks like it has hippie flowers in it! how do you get them so nicely rounded? Do you cut out the original shapes with a template?

This is really smooth material with no cracks or pits and is usually very shiny by the time you get through the forth wheel. The one large heart that I made for me that is in the picture had one very pretty druzy pit on the front that I liked. That is the only slab in the whole stone that had any kind of pit. Trish
