Ya, the second one is were its at in my opinion. BUt all three are really nice and good job revealing them. YOur right, its about coaxing the material out. And all to often you can go to far, or not enough. Nice Desciption on the thrid one Cher, i like that.

Ed
great work my friend, those are absolutely stunning. They don't get better than that. Those are every bit as good as the stuff as that ebay guy I told you about cranks out. Really nice pieces.

Funny how the first one looks so different upside down.... That second one.... *whistle* ... Looks like your inside a psychedelic cave with multi-colored stalactites & stelagmites...looking toward the cave opening you can see blue sky peeking in... it even looks like layers of rock and sediment on top of the cave.... ...no I'm not on drugs... lol ....well okay ...i did take some Psuedefed (sp?) this morning lol..... ;D

Thanks everyone. Boulder opal is an incredible stone to work. You just have to take a piece and cut into it before you can see what you have to work with. And I thank Tony for giving me such wonderful stones to work with. I can't wait to see what's in the rest of the rough he gave me.
