Hey all. I cut 7 new cabs today and none of them were Koroits. I went through one of my boxes of slabs and picked out these stones just for a change of pace. I also grabbed 2 pieces of opalized wood as I was recharging the barrel and shaped them into cabs. The first 2 are opalized wood 35x12mm 20x12mm Unknown agate 40x20mm These next 2 are from the same slab of unknown agate 34x20mm 40x25mm A piece of picture jasper 33x18mm And a piece of obsidian. In this first pic, you see an oval and inside the oval you see a lighter, smaller oval. I tilted the cab so it caught the light just right to highlight the inner oval in the second pic. It looks really cool in person and is difficult to capture in photos. 40x30mm tilted That is not a reflection of the light, that is inside the piece of obsidian that you are looking at. Thanks for looking.
