Jeeze Ed- that Bearcreek stuff is so wonderful!!! Sorry to say that the only thing I saw in the Colorado pet wood was a Pelican??? Umm I don't drink so that can't be an excuse- Oh and that Greeen Plume (chlorite I think SHain called it) is awesome- I saw some old cabs cut from that material at the last gem show- No price on em- but when I asked the old dodger where he got them and if he had any rough for sale He showed me 5 or 6 slabs of material he had left- Bought it back in the early 70's from someone who mined it- he had the cabs cut by some one in Kansas (I was so hoping it was Bear- alas the cabber is long since gone) He offered to sell me a slab or 2- when I asked how much- he just chuckled and and showed me the price written on the back of each slab- $200 each- I thanked him and walked away very sheepishly-

I can't tell if thats some Gneiss Schist, or that Schist is Gneiss. All I know is don't take it for Granite
