Very nice. Think I like the first one the best. You do great work.
One suggestion though. Even though quartz is a fairly plain background, I think it distracts from the cab a bit. Just do the photos on plain paper/table. It will make your work stand out a bit better. But just me being anal - like I said, you done good.

WOW Kim you did great - someone once told me about tiger eye/hawk eye and how there's a "side" to cut them - the chatoyancy shows up awesomely if it's cut on the right way - fortunately, it always seems to look amazing any way you cut that stuff - it always has a bit of chatoyancy any way you cut it
Like the swazi bloodstone

WOW!!! You have been busy, haven't you. That African lace is really nice, and I like the shape too. It's hard to tell in the pic, but yes, I think I did send you that unknown. It might be a plume agate. I see now that I'll have to dig out some of that plasma agate and cut some cabs. They're all great, but I think my favorite is the red breccia. Excellent work Kim. Ya know, blisters become calisouses(sp?) after a while, so get back and cut some more cabs!

tweetie it does have chatoyancy from either direction so i just went in the direction i saw chatoyancy but after i cut a few i decided to turn the rock and that's when i saw the difference. i still haven't figured out how you know which direction is the proper way to go. but if i'm not getting much one way i'll sure turn it from now on lol.
shain some of it does have the purple. gerdus sold it to me as african lace agate so that's what i've been calling it but the calico i've seen does look just like it. he called it a new rock that he was wanting to test. wish i had a pile of it as it works up so well - great shine, good patterns, cool drusies.
stoner what ever that agate is, i had a hard time getting a pic. it has little puffs inside that i was unable to get to focus on the camera.
