Hi all. Well I started moving things back where they belong in my shop, and got side-tracked again. So here's 4 cabs of material I unburied while moving it around. The first 3 are from stuff that Sandsman sent me awhile back. Black Rutilated quartz 30x22mm A picture jasper. This piece had a couple of really soft spots, so I may regrind these cuz it got a little out of oval shape. 30x20mm Mook Jasper 30x22mm This one is some kind of dendritic agate I got in a box of slabs from Rhodescabbin. 30x22mm Thanks for looking.

Ooooooo that last piece looks kind of like the thunder egg I have here, how cool is that!! Love the mook, that stuff always looks great. That black rutilated quartz is really different, great job on all of them Ed, the mook is the winner this time. What you clean shop for, did you have a tumbler explode?

Thanks Cher, no, I'm just now getting around to putting things back from when I had to move everything for the plumbers when they re-piped the house. I wanted to clean up the junk and re-arrange a little bit.

stoner these are great and I love the patterns! Be sure to get some extra parts from the plumbers... never know when you might want to build something. Harry

:owowser! that first one is outstanding, looks very oriental, like a japanese woodcut or something.
you should get distracted more often, Ed!

That last one looks a lot like that stuff you collected at Anderson reservoir last year.
Nice looking stuff there Ed, I need to get some pictures up from my recent work, you are owning this forum these days...

Thanks everyone, the last one didn't photograph well, it looks a lot better in person. It almost looks like a sunset peeking through the trees and the white-ish part looks like a cloudy sky. Post those pics Rally, you know how much we all love looking at other people's work.

Ya, i agree the frist or the last is my fav. When its black rutile, its not rutile but Tourmaline. Then its "Tourmalinated Quartz" That last one is nice and i bet nnicer in person. That was always the hang up with Dale Rhode, good material, but the when and if it actaully showed. Too cool Ed, thanks for sharing. I got a bunch cut over the past month i havent added, i get back to it sometime.

Love the mook - even thought up some names for it (I know it's not a contest, but I couldn't resist):
Serengeti Sunset
Martian Sunset

Dang Ed, you sure do crank out a bunch of fine cabs. Hard to pic a fav but I really like mook and the rutile is very unusual. The black dendritic material looks like some I have form northern Mexico but I've seen similar come from several sites.....mel
