My house is a mess, I have no clean clothes for work this week and I haven't eaten yet today, but DANGIT - I'VE GOT "CABS"!!! Local find - don't know what it is... some of the white stuff I found in the back yard... another local I-don't-know-i-tite jade with impurities - looks like some may be pyrite another piece of the jade another local I-don't-know-i-tite local marble another piece of the local marble the rhodocrosite with a little improvement - it's smoother Thanks for looking!

Nice cabs. Don't knock backyard rocks. Who says all cabs have to be from rocks worth something? Debbie

Debbie - I can't begin to knock what I find in my back yard - the house was built by a lapidary who lived in it for 10 years! The jade & the white stuff are only the beginning of what I find in my yard - I bought some rock and then after I had it realized I probably have enough from what I find in my yard to last me a few years!! :-}

Wow Shelby you're really getting good at this. Those ones you call jade sure remind me of African Budstone, does anyone else see this? The last one is a beaut!

These local stones are very cool. I love all of the jade. The rhodocrosite is very pretty. Isn't it fun that we can pick up a rock from our back yard and make a beautiful piece of jewelry out of it?

All of these are terrific and you are doing a great job! My only question is: When are we going to see some of these wire-sculpted? Harry
