I have an Ameritool also. I like what I have done with it so far. I hope to learn how to do intarsia with it, I just can't find any books on it dealing with rocks. Nice of your hubby to get things set up for you! Debbie

Nice setup. One word of dopping advice though. The wax cone that sticks to the stone works best if built out clear to the edge of the stone. More surface area, more stick and less likely the stone will take a flyer off the stick. Then temps should not make a difference unless they get freezer cold.....mel

Thanks Mel - great advice - so much to learn!!!! Debbie, there are a couple of folks on the board into intarsia...perhaps putting a question in the general area will get you some suggestions. :-)

Yup - barefoot. Always drove my mom nuts because she could never keep shoes on me. Now, it's my poor hubby chasing after me with shoes "before you step on something!!". :-)
