First, three nice Tiger-eye cabs; A pair of Condor Agates; Tiger-iron; A pair of blue lace; Bloodless bloodstone (maybe moss agate is a better descriptor?) Fancy Jasper (? same stone as the green above, but here with reds and yellows); Tabu Jasper from Africa; Some nice lace/plume I think from Mexico; And finally some OJ; The other piece of OJ from this week is posted under cabo-gones....

Excellent work dude. The shapes are way cool. The Condor on the left looks like a flower, almost like a rose. The Tabu is nice but the varigated tigereye(in the middle) is my favorite of the bunch.

Awesome shapes! I love the tiger eye & Iron but the shape of the fancy jasper wins it for me - but that tigeriron sure is beautiful! Messy stuff to work with though huh?

Yes, great shaping. Is the tabu on the harder or softer side?

great job, they all look great, really like the tigereye - hope to get me some of that stuff sometime. The Tabu jasper looks pretty cool also, don't know if I've seen that one before. Thanks for sharing!

... how does one know which breccias are the tabu? kim I bought my slab out of a tub labled as such, otherwise I'd never heard of it myself. A quick Google image search turned up quite a lot of it though, and the combination of red and pink seems to be typical. images.google.com/images?q=Tabu+Jasper&hl=en&btnG=Search+Images(copy the rest of the link or you will see pages and pages of Bollywood actress Tabu) It is also sometimes called "Tabu-tabu". It seems to be reasonably hard, but unlike Stone canyon it starts to look nice and shiney at 3000 mesh and only gets better on the finer passes.
