half of what i started working on today fell off the dop stick halfway through grinding, but i managed to finish three, this first is a piece of Hickoryite i got from Bearcreek, it's about 1.5" inches across: this next is a piece of Blue Hawk's Eye (18mm x 25mm) that Randy sent me, hard to photograph the velvety blue flash, but it's really nice: and finally a piece of some sort of agate (13mm x 18mm) that Connrock sent me, the photo doesn't do it justice either, it looks like a cloud formation: thanks for lookiing! Cool stuff! does the hawk eye not polish up as nice as agate or is that just me? (you have a diamond machine though don't you?) Love the cloudy agate

Awesome work KD. Too bad about the stones falling off the dops. Next batch. My vote goes for the hickoryite. I really like working with Bear's material.

I absolutely love the cloudy agate - the plume is centred perfectly in the cab. Excellent as always.

Nice to see some stuff from you KD!!! I sat down at the grinder last night- felt real good just to turn it on so much so that I slipped an old 220 belt on it and started to play with some boulder opal!

WoW!!! Very nice KD, that Hawk's eye is gorgeous. They all are gorgeous!! Love the unknown agate, that plume in there looks like storm clouds building. Totally awesome, great to see your work on here too.
