Hi all. It's been about a week so I figured it was time to post some new cabs. I got my latest auction winnings from Bearcreek in the mail today and of course, I couldn't just let them sit here. First up is a piece of orange calcite. I tried some of this once before when I was just starting to cut cabs, but I couldn't get a decent shine on it. I guess I must have learned a lot since then. 22x20mm Unknown Agate 25x16mm The next two are Brazilian Agates, both 30x22mm These next three are from Bearcreek. Sagnetic Agate 35x25mm West Texas Plume Agate, 30x27mm Aztec Lace Agate 30x22mm Thanks for looking.

Gull dang Ed! Your cabs just keep getting more and more impressive! That red plume is one of the most unusual patterns I've seen and the full pattern in the Royal Aztec Purple is really rare. You really scored some beautiful material from Bear Creek. I love these cab postings of yours as they show such fine examples of so many materials we seldom see as finished products. Really fine work!....mel

WoW Ed, those are stunning. Hard to pick a favorite there, the 2nd Brazilian is gorgeous, and so is the West Texas Plume but then so is the Aztec Lace Agate. I've never heard of that one before. Geez, I went back and looked again, that unknown agate is plenty awesome too. Dang they are all terrific, glad you got back to the grinder again. ;D LOL Nose to the grinder now, we need to see more.

I just took another look at that West Texas Plume. Did you notice on the right-hand side the face and upper body of a white dog peaking out from the red plumes?

Wow, thank you all for such kind words. I can't take credit for the shapes on Bear's material, I just follow the lines he provides. After all, he is the master, so if he has something laid out, who am I to argue. You're right Don, there is a Westie's face poking out of the plumes. I didn't even notice that. Good catch. Kim, that Aztec is from John, in fact, it was one of his freebies. I really like that piece. The pic doesn't do it justice. Well, I have 7 more done, so I'm going to start posting them in a little while. Thanks.
