WOW!! Awesome job Kim. Are all those healed fractures? Nice cutting job too. I like the way the white cuts across the top of it. Got anymore?

yes stoner those are healed fractures. trust me they are real healed since it flew out of my hands a couple of times lol. always scares me to death as the polish stage for this to happen. after i slabbed it, we smacked it on the work table hard thinking if it was going to fracture it would be in these areas but instead it broke apart in the solid red and all the healed fractures stayed intact. you never know.
we only got the 2 cabs done. mine had that smudgey spot in the center like i didn't get it domed properly so it had to go backwards at least 2 times with both me and sands working on that danged spot. sands was saying his back was hurting and i kept making him try to get it out lol. i didn't want him to leave me out there since i had a freaky crackhead with warts on his eyes come to the door ealier. when i sent him away he called my husband saying his truck had broken down and he needed $2. he was in a nice, new little truck with another fellow and there were no broken trucks anywhere around. any time my vehicle broke down, $2 wasn't going to fix it. he has me and sands both edgey. hope we don't shoot each other tonight lol. he was huge tall and big as my porch wide - with warts - aaaaaaaaaaaaaah!

Freaky Kim! Keep the lights on and doors locked! Might be a good idea to get some type of security system. For when you are out there by yourself! Just something to think about. Really!

Glad to see this. I got some of this jasper from Randy and I cut a slab, but have not worked any yet. Something to look forward to.

Beautiful stone Kim!
with the little bit of pink I see, it looks as though it may be related to the Tabu Tabu jasper I picked up a couple weeks ago, I've seen pictures of it that range from all pink with breccia to almost all red like yours- it sure does work up nicely doesn't it?!

That is superb! What a bit of beauty. Please be careful. I didn't think rural Mississippi had crackheads. Sorry to hear that. Carry your gun.

thanks all!
yes joe we have crackheads here too. i don't know about other places but ours aren't real bright with stories of a broken down truck and needing $2. that wouldn't even work for saying you'd run out of gas with the gas prices now.

If the warty guy comes back dressed as a clown, just shoot him.
Trust me on this one. S

I love the simplicity of red jasper. There's something about it. That is some shine. I bet in real life it's even shinier. Uh, Shiney-er-er. Something like that. Steve
