Figured I would give a try at posting some cabs. Tough getting very good photos of these little buggers! First two are of yellow plume agate (the little marks a little above 1/2 way are floating in the stone, both cabs took a nice glassy shine). Front 32mm X 22mm X 4.5mm Back lite Pet wood 32mm X 22mm X 4mm These were pre forms from BearCreek, he has great material though a bit on the thin side for my old eyes. Thanks for looking, Bill

Ooooooooooo nice job Bill, they are both gorgeous! I love the pet wood, that's stunning! Nice job, you need to show more of your stuff.

Fantastic Bill. Man, that agate is unreal. I really like the backlit pic. The wood is really nice too, and so are your photos. Bear has some of the best quality material I've ever seen, and you did those 2 pieces a world of justice. And like Cher said, you need to show us more of your work.

I agree. THe colors in that agate are amazing. Lets not rule out the drool factor of that pet wood. It looks like ice cream!
I agree photographing cabs is a challenge. I still haven't figured it out. Steve

Neat cabs Bill! That yellow plume is cool. Don't believe I've seen anything like it before. The transmitted light shots add to the interest too. keep em coming....mel

Thanks all! I'll try to get some more posted when time permits. I wasn't very happy with the focus on these, a bit fuzzy. I wasn't planning on spending much time on my grinder, as I like to slice and dice in the nicer weather, but I bent up my saw blade so figured if I can't cut I might just as well grind. Ordered 2 blades so I don't get caught short next time. Looked at some of Bearcreeks iris agates, but working with 2-3mm thick stones just isn't my cup of tea, they sure are pretty though. Thanks again for the nice words. Bill
