Well, I'm back at it again. Here's a little variety of different materials. Unknown, 30x22mm Flame Agate, 35x18mm These next 2 are some kind of jasper/agate 36x24mm 34x20mm Rhodocrosite 26x20mm Red Crazy Lace 32x28mm And another one of those special cabs, notice how the light captures the detail of the stone. Plume Agate 25x12mm I'll have more done tomorrow. Thanks for looking.

Yeah, I really like your semi-moon shapes, Stoner. That last one is a winner.
I really like the cab with the red devils in it, too. ;DS

Thanks everyone. I think you may be right Stephan, that first one may be pet wood. I picked it up at my local rock shop. What caught my eye was the streak of blue going through it. I'll be posting more today of the ones I didn't have time to finish last night.

not surprisingly, i like the red crazy lace the best, but they are all works of art. this is killing me, i've been out of commision with a pinched nerve in my shoulder for the past few weeks, so i haven't been on the grinder, hope i don't forget how!!!
thanks for the inspiration, Stoner!!

Boy I love the pics of your stones! The lace is my favorite from this batch with the plume being next. Cabs #3+4 sure look like they could come from the San Miguel-Parkfield region near the Stone canyon deposits. I have some very similar. That rhodocrosite is pretty neat too. I'm always nervous when I work that stuff as it's so expensive and it's so soft it can really disappear on the wheel....mel

I LOVE them all! In the first one, right-hand side, towards the top - I see the boar from "Lion King"...
Beautiful cabs!

I gott avote for number one, but when it comes to your cabs I can never decide. That flame agate looks like a painting. I can't figure out if you are doing your cab trick with that one. Those are all beautiful, and that plume agate is out of this world. Steve
