I just received my new 100 grit diamond wheel. Wow is that nice. Now I know why people say when you go to diamond you will never go back to silicone Carbide. What a pleasure to grind on a flat surface that does not go concave in 2 minutes. I can't wait to buy more diamond.

Hi Pat, welcome to the world of pleasurable grinding. It's true, once you've used a diamond wheel you never go back to SC. And in the long run, they are actually cheaper to use. I've been using my 100g wheel for 18 months now and it's still going strong. And it never needs dressing to flatten it. Now you need to get some diamond sanding belts as well. For polishing, I use 14k and 50k diamond paste on a leather belt and so far, the only stone that wouldn't give a good shine was a tiffany stone and some boulder opal with the soft tan matrix. Now you need to start posting some of your work.
