Hi all, I got into my picture jasper slabs today and located my Bruneau jasper that got set aside during the re-pipe work. I have no idea what this first one is, but it's kinda cool looking. Unknown 30x22mm Now for the picture jaspers 28x20mm 30x22mm 27x18mm And the Bruneau Jaspers 30x22mm 30x17mm 30x19mm Thanks for looking.

Steve, I did get these Bruneau Jaspers from Wenrics. At $10/lb, I just bought 1lb, but after seeing these cabs, I may get some more. I'm not sure what kind of picture jasper the first one is, or if it's even considered a picture jasper. I had to go back and look at the stone because in the photo it looks like there's a fracture in the lower left side running across the front of the cab. If it is a fracture, it's a well healed one because even with a magnifying glass I can't see any cracks. Phew!

As always stoner, very nice work!
The family that owns the Bruneu claim has a Rock and Gift shop just off the highway in Jerome Idaho, a few mileswest of Twin Falls- if you are ever up that way its well worth stopping in, they have a great supply of slabs of all kinds and of course a lot of their patented Jasper. I picked up an awesome slab of really dark stuff that I can't wait to cab up!

Very nice set Ed, Bruneau is fun to play with and polishes so easy. That frist one, without seeing it in person i would say is Tiffany Stone. As there really not many jaspers that will have black, healed fractures. PLus the many other healed looking fractures. Classic if you ask me. Nice either way.
