Hey Guys, This stuff is by far my favorite type of Jade to work. I don't know why really, could be the feel, metaphysically speaking. But it also seems to give some sort of astertical effect, similar to star garnets of star quartz. Just not nearly as vivid. It also can look black until the right lighting hits it, and then its like Emerald green. Hence the Chromium. The shape of this cab came out real nice too, and it what i consider a natural freeform. As i just kept cutting it till i didn't have any failures and there ya go, enjoy~

Thanks guys, I got this material from an Tony, he used to be in this group but left due to conflict. He told me this stuff torn up his 10inch saw blade when cutting it. you can find him over at pacificjadeart.com

Nice cab Shain. I hear that guy Tony really screwed up his saw cutting this stuff. Every time I try and cab some of it, it splinters on me.

Ya, it doesnt surprise me Ed, The stuff is very prone to problems when cutting. I would cut just a little bezel, maybe 10mm at a time and then put it down. And you can see in the convexed curve, it kept getting larger becasue pieces would splinter out right there easy. You can even see thats were the piece would of broke completly if i didnt do small increments of cutting. It really hurt the wrist and hands when cutting it too.

That is breathtaking! I love the depth and the shape really does emphasize the beauty of the stone.
