This frist one is from Jamie, AKA Desertdweller. She sent me some rough samples when i purchased some cabs from her. Very nice stuff, almost identical to some raymine material i have. And theres some metal content in it. Little silver flashes. I did have to stablize this piece, but its more than worth that labor to insure a few fractures didnt continue to develope. This is a hugh Tiffany, rough 2.5inchs square. Has a high silica content and super fine Dendrites. Doesnt really get any better than this with Tiffany. Enjoy~

Nice pieces there Shain. Love that turquoise color. Does the Tiffany Stone come from here in Utah? I think it comes from Delta area (Berrylium Mines) but wasn't sure if there's another source of this material. Steve

Steve, yup near Delta. THere has been rumors a similar stone is being mined in Mexico. But i have yet to see anyone selling it, and been hearing that over a year.
Kim, I use opticon when stablizing. Theres a high learning curve with the stuff but this cab when preforming was ready to break into 3 pieces. You cant even see the healed fractures now unless you look real close and real hard. BUt it was only 1 step away from three pieces. I also didnt finish preforming it untill it was stablized. and reacted perfectly to the continued cutting action.
