Here are the cabs I have worked on this week. The ones that are mounted are already sold ;D These are iris agates (from bearcreek) but I didn't get the 'iris' to show up in the pics - sorry. this one is almost all clear, darkened the 1st pic so you could see it Some stuff stoner sent me Pet wood I picked up out in west texas Palm wood I picked up out in west texas (this stuff is really cool) A couple of savanah agates I got from coolaid a while back just now getting around to cabbing: tigereye antelope jasper amy sage thanks for look all, robert

Wow, nice set of cabs Robert, the shine is fantastic. That first iris agate from Bear is awesome. What is the 3rd piece from me? Is that the fancy blood jasper? It's hard to tell from the pic cuz the cab is too shiney!

Awesome batch Robert! Those iris agates are really nice and I'm always a big fan of that Texas palm. I got some of koolaid's Savannah River material too. Your's came out so pretty I'm gonna have to work up some of mine....mel

Ed, I think its the blood stone but not sure - its pretty dark with what looks like poppies - kinda like a OJ mix.
Mel, make sure your careful with the savanah agate, it is fun to work and works up really fast but it will break on you. It seems to break a lot quicker than other stuff I have worked with. I had a red one that was super sharp, it slipped out of my hand. It only dropped about 6 inches but it broke so watch out.
