This is the astrophylite I totally splurged on, because it sounded like such a cool stone. It is! Very hard to photograph to catch the gold fibers. and seraphinite that I've been admiring for a while, and finally bought to try. I'll be wrapping this one soon!

Thanks! That's what I love about this forum, I see all kinds of rock I haven't heard of, and see what it looks like in a cab. Of course, it makes me spend more money...hehe

Very nice Dee. I cut a small cab from a slab of seraphinite that KD sent me and I really liked how it looked. I bid on 2 lots of the stuff last week and wound up winning both of them, but that's okay because it really does make nice cabbing material. I never heard of the first one, but it looks really nice too. Good job.

Thanks, Joe and Stoner. Boy, Stoner, I love that Boulder Opal in your avator. I've never tried opal, but I'm going to keep an eye out at the SMGS show (Sac Mineral and Gem Society) this weekend for some. That is just stunning!!
