Here's my latest batch, all shined up. I did something different this time- made sure to NOT dump my water drain bucket into the feed bucket to avoid grit contamination and I stuck to diamond paste for polishing. I also didn't skip any steps. The result is nicer shine. I hope you enjoy them. Thanks for looking. Steve Two Mogan Hill Poppy Jaspers: Two I-don't-know-ites. Looks like brecciated jasper but with some cool white areas. Two Dryhead Agates: Morgan Hill Poppy Jasper. This is the weirdest Morgan Hill I've seen in a while and it was full of fractures, but I like the results: Guadalupe Jasper: Ocean Jasper. It's hard to see but the white and brown orbs are very well defined and delicate. This was one of the ones I gave to my sis for her wire-wrapping adventures:

Absolutely gorgeous! Seconds on the first dryhead, and I really like the brecciated above that! What a shine you get on those...

Excellent job Steve. I'm partial to the poppy jaspers myself, and you did get an excellent shine on them. Hmmm.....sticking to just diamond paste for your polish? Where have I heard that before? Oh, and good thinking on not recycling your waste water back into the supply. I recycle my dirty water by using it on my Bonsai trees. If nothing else, it gives them a lot of different minerals!
Keep up the good work.

Yeah Ed, I know, you've been saying it all along about the diamond paste. This batch was mostly harder stones, and the Morgan Hill was harder than most, so it polished up nice. Hey, I just noticed you can see my garage in the last cab. Steve

Very nice work on all of those! the yellow breccia looks like the Jasper/jasp-agate material I found at Lavic Siding down in the Mohave this last weekend, my computer at home is dead or I'd post some pictures of my haul, maybe tomorrow....

All very nice, RL, but I'll take the first dryhead as well. I'm a sucker for any of that Teepee Canyon type stuff. Rich
