i'm a bit rusty and my picture taking skills have certainly not improved, and somehow the sun went down, too. but! here are some cabs i started on today, some need a bit of touch up and the backs all need to be polished, first up a freeform cab, which i don't do much, but i figured "back to basics, girlie": here is a piece of rhondonite that i got from Snowdog, this is a 14mm x 10mm oval, looks kinda oriental to me, like bamboo or something: here is another 14mm x 10mm of some Breccia that Kim sent me a long while back, i think this was the first load from Africa? the colors are so much better, i may try to get a shot if the sun ever comes back out: here is a "gemmy" 25mm x 18mm piece of Charoite" and, c'mon folks, this whole "diamonds for Christmas" stuff is totally overrated, show your loved one how you feel with a little chunk of dino poo in their stocking: some Picasso Marble, needs a little work here: and a nice little 25mm x 18mm seraphinite oval, i just love this stuff, it's SO soft but takes such a nice shine, needs a little edge alignment: and last but not least, and of course i can't capture the effect, but here is a 18mm x 13mm very thin piece of Iris Agate that i got from Bearcreek: thanks for looking!! KD

Yes Ladies and Gentlemen, She's back! So I guess this means your shoulder is feeling a little better. Very nice KD. Nice variety of some choice stones too. The plume agate is very cool. Did you have problems with the red breccia undercutting? Seraphinite is fun to work and it always turns out nice. Good to see your work again.
