a real mix of stuff here: going clockwise, starting at the 2 o'clock on the outer layer is a 30 x 22 mm piece of some of the strangest Picasso Marble i've ever come across, gifted to me by bikerrandy. in the 4 o'clock is a piece of Rocky Butte that i got from Daniel and Avi Stone. at 6 o'clock is a weird piece of Mex Lace (needs more work), then at 8 o'clock is a thin piece of plume, both of these origin unknown. at 10 o'clock is an almost colorless, but slightly lime green piece of flourite that was gifted to me by Hermatite. and finally at 11 o'clock a piece of Turritella agate (my first attempt at cabbing this material) that i got in a Bear Creek eBay auction and was very kindly slabbed by Randy. ok, now we ill rock around the inside of the clock, starting at the midnight position, a 14 x 10mm piece of plume from bearcreek, then a similar sized piece of Labrodite (from Hermy), another piece of unknown lace and finally a piece of Denim Lapis (i think) that i got from a guy on eBay. here are some close ups and back lit shots: there are weird striations in this fourite, very soft to work with. and another angle at theis turritela: i have a lot to learn about cabbing this stuff as it comes out toally different than what you'd think at the start....interesting stuff tho! thanks for looking! KD

Awesome batch of goodies there! I like them all but for some reason, I really have a thing for fossils that polish and love turritella agate. I had a nice cab of that and put it in a belt buckle which I wore on my last Woodward Ranch trip where I somehow managed to hit a rock against it and broke it to shards *L*. Now that you've reminded me how pretty they are, I'm just going to have to cut me a new one.....mel
