ok i been sittin and lookin at the grinder haha and i was walkin by the box of blanks i have out and this one cought my eye an this one is from the big rock i just found and cut

it polished up nice for a softer stone you just cant see it in the pic ill try and let the glare show in another haha i was tryin to get the pattern to show so i took it at an angle so the glare from the flash would go away

I have to ask, any secret to polishing the flat surfaces on a round wheel? I can,t figure it out

thanks all it did feel good to get acouple done now i broke the ice ill start pickin up the pace haha---- tweet its alittle tricky to do flats on a grinding wheel but anyone can doit with some practice first thing is dont touch the face with anything under like a 280-400 wheel if you do it eats to fast and you wil get waves in the face,, when you do hit the face never stop moving making sure you hit ever spot on the face with even pressure not hard just enuff to get it to cut slow and turn the piece often and come from all sides of the stone on each wheel

I thought maybe you had worn your fingers to nubs and couldn't hold the rocks anymore. ;D J/K John, those are really nice. Love the first one, that pattern is way cool. Isn't it neat to work something you picked up yourself too.
