Howdy folks, Someone above was asking about polished Bruneau Jasper so here are a few more stones including a Bruneau and a Bruneau lookalike. All the cabs are 30 x40's. Thanks for looking....mel The stone on the right is a classic Bruneau Jasper but the orbed porcelain jasper on the left is a tumbled gem from the center of a Hauser Beds Thunderegg. The Bruneau was an experiment, finished in the tumbler from sanding stage through polish. Came out not too bad. Two stones cut from some slabs of Oxaca Travertine ( Dunes Picture Rock) from Oxaca, Mexico. And finally, the Turritella Agate from Wamsutter, Wyoming is a slab I tumbled for a bola tie and the other picture jasper is from rough that was sold to me as Bryce Canyon Picture Stone but I think it actually is one of the McDermitt or Palomino group of picture jaspers. A booger to polish but really nice scenes!.

very nice cabs mel and I think the last one is from the McDermitt area. Amazing to think that this time last year I would not have been able to tell one pic jasper from the other.

Thanks Ed! Yep all from my collection. The two Oxaca Travertine cabs are the last two 30 x 40's I got from the first slab of that material I ever saw for sale at a show. I have the hardest time making myself chop up nice slabs for cabs but I got more of the rough from Ron's Rocks. Had planned to mount those cabs in matching belt buckles but I'm afraid they'll be too exposed to scuffing and scratching so they'll just go in my rikers for lookin at *S*....mel
