Boy it sucks working or trying to work two jobs. The job that's paying me is eating into the job that's fun. Anyway, I got some cabs done and thought I'd post 'em. This is morgan hill poppy jasper from ed Another african queen pic jasper - this stuff is really fun to work a bot for randy this is a piece from a texas pic jasper I'm slabbing up - any help with a name would be great. It has a very nice blue also but this was just a piece that broke off. The colors are very vibrant. thanks for looking, robert

Damn Robert, These are some awesome cabs dude. I was looking at the poppy jasper thinking what a great job you did cutting it so the poppy was centered and getting a great shine, then I scrolled down and they kept getting better. I'm impressed with your work, your cabs are looking very professional.

Oh man, those are all so nice! That poppy jasper cab is really neat ( huge poppy there!). Always hard to beat a nice African Queen too. I've been seeing some of that picture rock for sale on E-Bay. The only picture rock locations I know of in Texas are south of Marathon on the Stillwell and Adams ranches. I've only read about them and have never been there but the descriptions make the Adams Ranch Picture Jasper sound unlike your specimen. I've never seen a description of the Stillwell material but that location is famous for colorful materials so that might be a place to start looking for info on your specimen....mel

Four beauts there, Robert. Nice work! If my arm was gettin' twisted, I'd have to pick the Bot, though.
